Open to Honors students, the below publications are opportunities for you to share your academic and creative work with others across the country. We encourage you to enter your works and let us know if you have been accepted for an issue!
Aisthesis
Established in 2008, Aisthesis is an interdisciplinary honors journal published annually by the University Honors Program at the University of Minnesota Duluth. Their goal is to create and share a compilation of compelling scholarship completed by students in University honors programs nationwide. They define scholarship broadly to include original research in any academic field of inquiry, creative expression projects or accomplishments, integration of old ideas in novel ways, or application of knowledge in new areas. They welcome submissions that broaden the understanding of any academic issue, challenge us to see the world from another perspective, inspire us to pursue new lines of inquiry, or challenge traditional discipline and genre boundaries.
Palouse Review
The Palouse Review is the biannual arts and academics journal of the Washington State University Honors College. They accept submissions from current and former honors students from throughout the Western Regional Honors Council. Their editors are looking for carefully crafted, evocative work that demonstrates the literary, artistic, and academic excellence of our broader honors community.
Scribendi
Scribendi is a nonprofit, annual print publication that publishes creative work from undergraduate Honors students from more than 200 institutions in the Western Regional Honors Council (WRHC). Scribendi solicits work in a number of different categories such as poetry, creative nonfiction, short fiction, foreign language, visual art, photography, and open media.
UReCA
UReCA: The NCHC Journal of Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity is the official undergraduate journal of the National Collegiate Honors Council. Submissions are accepted from students currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program. UReCA fosters the exchange of ideas between undergraduate students, providing a platform where students can engage with, and contribute to, the advancement of their individual fields. UReCA has published four editions to date and continues to work toward the dissemination of meaningful undergraduate work.
