Well-Being Yoga with Kate Stevenson

Honors yoga is not currently in session

This 45-minute Well-Being class focuses on finding flow-state, a state of mind that is achieved when you’re fully immersed, forgetting about the outside world. We will awaken our mind and body with breath work, joint mobility, strength and toning, and flow. No experience is necessary and there are no expectations for your performance, simply commit to showing up and being present. A yoga mat is recommended, but not necessary.

My love for movement stems from a life of classical ballet training and modern/contemporary dance. I graduated from WWU with a Bachelor of Science in Fitness/Exercise Science have been working in the fitness industry ever since. In addition to my amazing job in Honors, I have the pleasure of teaching for the WWU Faculty/Staff Wellness Program where I’m able to learn and improve as a coach and leader. This year is beyond unique and the importance of developing a healthy routine is greater than ever. I offer you a safe space to learn, connect, and focus on your well-being.
