WWU Honors wants students to not only succeed academically while enrolled at Western, but to thrive in all other aspects of life. Below are just a few resources available to students. If you would like to see a full, comprehensive list of resources offered at Western, you can find an overview of student services here.

Honors student Abigayle Peterson developed and released “Magnify Wellness,” a free mental wellness app available on the iOS app store.

The app includes eight features meant to develop and maintain mental wellness and resilience. These features include a chatbot named Maggie, journal entries, uplifting quotes, advice guidance, counseling, a game and requests for prayer.

Magnify Wellness’s mission is to ensure everyone gains equal access to mental health support. Their Mental Health Changemakers Cohort, comprised of 17 young students across the world, have worked to add resources to the Mental Health Forever Database.
