The Office of Civil Rights and Title IX Compliance

Federal law, Washington law, and Western policy prohibit discrimination in education and employment on the basis of race, ethnicity, color, national origin, age, citizenship or immigration status, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, religion, veteran or military status, disability, and more. The Office of Civil Rights and Title IX Compliance (CRTC) is responsible for overseeing compliance of civil rights and affirmative action laws, regulations, and policies. CRTC receives and investigates complaints about discrimination and harassment and can help facilitate resolutions to civil rights concerns.

Honors faculty, staff, and administrators can support students with the process of reporting to CRTC.
