Christie Scollon, Ph.D.

Christie Scollon (she/hers) is an Associate Professor of Psychology. Her research focuses on happiness, emotions, and the good life, and in particular cultural differences in these constructs. She has published over 30 research articles on these topics and more. Professor Scollon earned her Ph.D. in Social/Personality Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and has 20 years of experience teaching and mentoring undergraduate students. She teaches the Honors Psychology Colloquium, Honors Seminars, and courses in Psychology such as Research Methods and Positive Psychology.
